MEMORY CARDS

MEMORY CARDS

Memory cards are an essential part of storing extra data on the device. Memory cards can be used on mobile phones, tablet computers, cameras, televisions, media players, etc. Almost all types of data can be stored on the memory card. Important documents and files are usually stored on the memory card. Being small in size, it is easy to carry. As a result, memory cards are also popular for storing data. But when buying a popular memory card, you may often hesitate. Because there are different models and there is a need to place special emphasis on the right model and term. As such, buying a card does not provide the desired performance. As a result, many are suffering from the use of memory cards.

Select the appropriate memory card

Not all formats will work on all devices, even if any microSD card is easily plugged into any microSD slot. Good to know, there are three different card formats. They are built on different standards and different capacities. The capacity of SD, SDHC and SDXC-MicroSD is up to 2 GB. It is supported on any SD card slot. Micro SDHC supports capacities ranging from 2GB to 12GB. This card only works on devices that support it. And SDXC standard can make memory card from 12GB to 2 TB. And only supported devices can use this type of card. Therefore, it is necessary to know the storage capacity when purchasing a new memory card. Because most of the time, a user can not accurately determine the capacity memory card will buy. This allows the device to slow down when buying a high-capacity card if needed.

Memory card speed

SDHC and SDXC memory cards support the ultra-high-speed bus interface. These cards have the ability to write data quickly. Ultra high speed is commonly known as UHS. But your device must support this in order to get the benefits from UHS. Also, depending on how fast the memory card will be based on its class rating. There are 5 Class Ratings in total, Class 2 – Minimum 2 MB / sec speed; Class 1 – Minimum 5 MB / sec speed; Class 1 – Minimum 5 MB / sec speed and Class 1 – Provide minimum 5 MB / sec speed.

Beware of duplicate cards

Many people buy large capacity memory cards with less money. Good to know, the capacities of them are very low. Also, the class rating is wrong. You will see that you have bought a 32GB memory card with only 20 takas, But after loading 1GB of data, the capacities will show last or the packet’s speed or card’s speed is rated.
